Parallel Seller Fees

When selling on Parallel Shopping and Parallel Industiral marketplace, commission fees are applied to your transaction based on which seller level you are at. 

The commission for Level 4 (Pro Level) fee total is capped at $50 per product sold. Example: An order that contains 2 $1000 products would have a total commission and Pro fees of $100, $50 for each item. *Plus the PayPal fees to collect the money. 

Please refer to the table below for the different fee structures. 

Note: Parallel Shopping charges fees based on the subtotal (item amount + shipping cost). We do not charge fees on taxes for orders paid by debit card. However, credit cards and PayPal do include taxes when determining the fee, and this amount is used to cover the added processing costs for those payment methods (item amount + shipping cost + taxes). Also out of the profits, we spend 3% for affiliates to help us get the word out that we exist.

Marketplace Seller (Level 1-3)

• Marketplace Commission: 10.25% of Subtotal $100.00
  • (10.25%) * $100.00 = $10.25
    PayPal/Credit Card Processing Fee: 3.09% + $0.49 of Order Total $120.00 (adding 20.00 shipping cost)
  • $0.49 + (3.09% * $120.00) = $4.198
  • Total Marketplace Sale (Level 1-3 Seller) Fees = Marketplace Commission + Total PayPal/Credit Card Fees. 
  • $10.25 + $4.198 = $14.50 would be our fee for a 100.00 sale with 20.00 shipping cost.

Marketplace Seller (Pro Level 4)

• Marketplace Commission: 10% of Subtotal $100.00
  • (10%) * $100.00 = $10.00
  • (3.09%) * $100.00 = $3.09
  • Total Commision: $13.09
    • (keeping in mind there is a 50.00 cap per item at 10%, then 2.25% of the balance of items that cost over $50)

• PayPal/Credit Card Processing Fee: 3.09% + $0.49 of Order Total $120.00 (adding 20.00 shipping cost)
  $0.49 + (3.09% * $120.00) = $4.20
  Total Marketplace Sale (Level 1-3 Seller) Fees = Marketplace Commission + Total PayPal/Credit Card Fees 
  •    $9.50 + $3.54 = $13.04
